You have probably heard it said that “Attitude is everything” well, I came across this video and though I don’t agree with the suggestions in the video, I like the comedy and if you have debt collectors giving you a lot of headache, taking on this attitude towards them may help make your life a little easier.

Most of the time debt collectors threaten people that are already vulnerable. Some times, the best thing you can do for yourself is to catch them off guard by reacting to them in the way they are not used to.

I think there is some advise here on how to deal with debt collectors.

Relax and enjoy!

Here is the transcription of the video:

Praise the lord. Moses here from Christian Motivation, I do believe that you are doing fine. In the last video that I made I made a promise and I said that I would share with you some things, so I just want in this video to share with you one of the things that I promised, and one of the things that I promised to share with you was a verse concerning Joseph where God made him forget his past, and the reason I wanted to do that is I know the last year, 2011, has been really hard on some people.

I’ve been in places where I’ve found people who are out on the streets on tents, under the bridges, I’ve seen tents put out in places some of you would not even imagine living. People have lost their homes, people have lost their jobs, marriages have fallen apart, relationships have fallen apart, just because of what is happening in this country. People are losing hope, it’s almost like people are just hitting the bottom and they don’t seek any way out.

I’m here to just encourage you and let you know that God is still on the throne. God is still in control. The very reason that you are still breathing is an indication that God still has a purpose on your life, and I just want to encourage you that when things get tough, don’t give up hope. Don’t give up hope. There is hope for you.

God is going to come through for you. And, as I said in the last video, we see this in scripture, in many instances, in many examples, where God came through at points where probably people had given up, and they thought that there was no hope for them, and one of the things that I want you to know is when God comes through for you, he will even make you forget your past. He will make you forget the pains that you are going through.

You see, sometimes when we are going through those pains, it almost looks like you will not go through the pain, or you will not go through the situation, or the circumstance, and you think to yourself, even if you were to get to the other side, and things get better, you almost think like there’s no way you can forget, and I’m here to let you know that sometimes even people who have gone through pain and gone through circumstances and get to a life that looks to be better, if they cannot forget their past sometimes their past will hold them back. It doesn’t matter how much money you have, if your past was bad and you cannot forget your past your past will hold you back.

So I just want to share with you two verses that really blessed me, and the way I came upon these verses was really through a friend of mine, I have a pastor friend of mine who one time text me- just a few days ago, probably a few weeks ago, so he text me and asked me what I thought of Genesis Chapter 41, and he was telling me to look at verse 51.

He told me to look at Genesis 41:51, and he was asking what revelation I was getting from it; the funny thing is, the moment I read the verse, I replied to him and I told him, look here, I don’t know what revelation you’re getting out of the verse, but what I know is the verse just shows that there are things that we go through sometimes and we even don’t know how, how to go through them.

But as I was meditating on the verse, the very first time I read it, It’s almost something just leaped on the inside of me, and it was like this verse was speaking aloud to me, and the second verse too, I read verse 51, and it was also speaking something on the inside of me, and I remember texting back and told him, you know what, this verse is blessing me so much, I can see me even give a whole sermon on these two verses. Now, I’m not here to give a whole sermon on these two verses, but I just wanted to read them to you and let you know what God can do.

It says, this is the story of Joseph, I’m sure you know about this story, if you don’t I encourage you to go out in Genesis and read the life of Joseph, it’s really a story that will bless you because I know there is a lot that you can get from there. But in verse 51 it says, “And Joseph called the name of the first born,” let me go back to verse 50, verse 50 says, “And unto Joseph were born two sons, before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah, priest of On, bare unto him. And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house. And the name of the second called he Abraham, for God had caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction,”

You see, Joseph had gone through a lot of trouble, a lot of circumstances in his life, and it looked like even if he was doing the right thing, things were not coming up the right way. It almost looked like he was doing the right thing, but then the right thing was leading him to the wrong destination. You see, in life, sometimes we will look at our lives and it looks like we are doing everything we know to do.

It looks like we have prayed the way we know to pray, it looks like we have worked at our work the way we know to do, to work, we have given ourselves at our bosses our at our businesses or our work, or it may be the ministry, whatever it is, it may be your relationships, sometimes you- it looks like you’ve done everything you know to do right, but the it looks like the things end up giving you the results you didn’t want to get in the first place, and I know that many people who have been working hard paying their mortgage, but then they ended up losing their jobs, they ended up losing their houses, they ended up losing their relationships after all they had invested in those relationships, in those jobs, in their careers, in the businesses, but at the end of the day they ended up losing their jobs, they ended up losing their businesses, they ended up losing their relationships, and you may be at a place in your life where you are wondering where is God.

I believe that Joseph was at that place where he knew he had done every right thing, but it looked like whatever he did did not amount to anything good, it almost looked like everything he did right was only leading to something wrong. But God was not done with him, you see the scripture tells us that even when he was going through all that, God was with him, and I am here to encourage you that God is with you. But here is an interesting thing that I was in these two verses.

When God took Joseph from the prison and set him on the throne, when he had- when Joseph had his first son, he did not name his first son a name that meant that he was fruitful. The first thing that he named- the name that he gave his first son, was a name that said that God had made him forget all the toil and all the trouble and all the challenges that he had gone through. You see, sometimes in life, even after you’ve excelled, even after you’ve gone to the other side of the river, if I may say, after you’ve crossed to the other side, if you have not forgotten the things, the troubles you’ve gone through, it’s very hard for you to enjoy even what God has given to you.

So to Joseph, it was very important that God makes him forget all the pain and all the toil, and I believe that placed a very important role in his future because you remember when his brothers came he was able to forgive them, and sometimes you may read that and you wonder how was he able to forgive his brothers after all that they had done to them.

Here’s the trick, here’s the secret; God had made him forget the past. I believe that God is going to take you to a place in your life where the first thing that he’s going to do, before you even realize the prosperity that he’s bringing in your life, before you realize his goodness, he’s going to make you forget your past. God is going to make you forget your past, and after he has made you forget your past, then he is going to make you fruitful so that you can enjoy the fruit of whatever it is that God is giving to you.

This verse has blessed me a lot; I can do a whole sermon on just these two verses, but I’m here to just encourage you that- don’t give up, God is going to make you forget, I don’t know what you’re going through, I don’t know how bad things have been for you, I don’t know how bad this year has been for you, but I want you to know that God is still on the throne. If you are still breathing, you are a candidate for a miracle, and God is going to do that in your life. He is going to make you forget all the pain, he is going to make you forget all the toil, and then he is going to make you fruitful. Just don’t give up, and keep on hoping. Keep on trusting in him, keep on looking to him, he is going to make it come true in your life.

So, I wanted to encourage you with that, I just wanted to make sure I am true to the promise I made in the last video of sharing these two verses with you, so I encourage you to just keep on lifting up the name of Jesus, keep on looking unto God and he will see you through.

Until next time, I wish you the best in this holiday season, and I want you to keep hoping for a better 2012. God bless you, stay blessed, keep the faith, and go reign in life. Bye bye.

Below is the transcript for the video

Praise the lord. It’s Moses here at Christian Motivation – it’s a privilege once again to share with you the Word of God and the thoughts and resources that I believe will help you reign in life. I will be continuing from where we left off last time. For those who have not had the opportunity to check out the last video I posted, I encourage you to go to ChristianMotivation.tv and look at the video, that is, in case you’re watching this video from somewhere else other than the website.

For those who have already watched the first video, I hope you’ve taken the time to see how to manage your time or how you are using your time, so that you can be able to get to the next level.

I want to encourage all of you to be people of action. One thing I have realized is that it doesn’t matter how much information one has, if one doesn’t take action, it is useless information. Such information will not empower anyone. So my desire and encouragement to you is that as I share these few things, take action so that you able to see results. We are supposed to be hearers and doers of the Word – it doesn’t matter how many resources I share with you or how good the information that I share with you is; if you do not take action, you will not see any results in your life. So if we are going to reign in life, we’ve got to act on the information we hear or receive. That is what wisdom all about – wisdom is applying the knowledge that we have correctly and we know that wisdom is better than money. That’s what the Bible says. Again, I encourage you to take action on the things that I share with you.

Now, let’s take a brief recap on the things that we shared last time. We mentioned the four things that have the potential to determine the quality of your life which are: your thoughts, your decisions or the choices you make, your relationships, and time. In the first video, we talked about time and how we can utilize it efficiently or spend it. Today I will be talking about your thoughts.

Whether we know it or not, our thoughts are what really make us. The Word of God says that as a man thinks, so is he. As a man thinks, so is he. Everything you see in your life is a result of the thoughts that you’ve had. So if you want to change the course of your life, you’ve got to change your thoughts. If you want to change your emotions, how you’re feeling, you’ve got to start with your thoughts. Thoughts are, so to speak, the foundation from which we build. Your destiny really begins with your thoughts. Now there are two types of thoughts that I really want us to look at.

When I was meditating on this, I realized that we actually have two types of thoughts: unintentional thoughts and intentional thoughts. I want us to look at thoughts as seeds that are planted in you. There are thoughts that come to you as unintentional seeds. In other words, you were not thinking about it, but it dropped into your mind. That is an unintentional thought. It is not something that you took time to think about. It just came to your mind. That’s how we get ideas. Ideas can be unintentional. An idea just pops into your mind from nowhere. That is also how temptations come to us. A thought in form of a temptation comes to you. So, unintentional thoughts can be ideas or temptations.

On the other hand, there are intentional thoughts. Something that comes to you as unintentional could turn out to become intentional. Or, you may be intentionally thinking about something and we usually call that meditation – you have purposed to think about something. You must realize that meditation on intentional thoughts can be either negative or positive. It just depends on what you are thinking about. When you choose or purpose to think about unintentional thought, you are taking time to build on that thought. Usually all thoughts begin as unintentional. This is the way the devil tempts us. He drops a sinful thought in our mind, we either choose to build on that seed or we neglect that seed.

When an idea/thought pops into your head, what you do with that idea is really your choice whether you intentionally build that idea up and make it into a reality or not. There are many people who have had good ideas which never crossed from the unintentional to the intentional side. They never take time to really meditate on that idea. They never take time to really focus on that idea and water it, fertilize it, by meditation or intentionally thinking about the idea. This is a good choice when it comes to temptations. Temptations become sin when you intentionally start thinking about them. What the devil does is to give you a thought which you can start thinking about and building on. What are you doing? You are intentionally thinking about it and then before long it will become sin.

Intentional thoughts can be positive or negative, for example, fear, which is negative, begins with a thought. I actually heard somebody say that fear is an acronym for False Expectation Appearing Real.

Fear really starts as a thought and when you started building on it by thinking on the outcome of that fear, which is negative, then fear takes root and is established. There are also positive things we can think about and we actually have the power to even direct our emotions through thinking positively. An example of the outcome of this is motivation. Motivation is about getting an idea that is good and thinking about it causing you to get emotionally elevated.

Paul gives us the kind of things that we should think about in Philippians 4:8 — Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report: if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those are the things we should be thinking about all the time. Why? Because thinking or meditating on such things produces positive results.

The other thing we must understand about thoughts is that they can be discarded especially the negative thoughts or temptations. What I mean is that a negative thought can be ignored; however, just ignoring it will not take it away. It has to be replaced with or displaced by a good thought. As children of God, we can replace a negative thought with the word of God. When temptation comes your way or when something that you know shouldn’t be in your life comes your way in terms of a thought, you’ve got to combat it with the word of God. That’s the difference that we see between the first Adam and the last Adam. When the enemy came to the Garden of Eden to tempt Adam and Eve with the thought that resulted in disobedience, they were not able to replace the thought with a concrete Word of God. They should have said no to him and quoted word for word what God said, but they did not do that. Instead, they listened to that devil, built on the thought that the devil had told them, about knowing good and evil. Thinking more about it, they decided to eat of the fruit.

But when the devil came to the last Adam, praise the Lord, the last Adam used the Word of God. For every thought/temptation that came his way, he always refuted it with the Word of God. Again we must remember that we cannot just ignore thoughts. When evil thoughts or temptations come your way, they should be confronted with the Word of God. That is the only way one is able to successfully discard them. Once a thought enters the mind, it should is either replaced- pushed out, or it slips on to the subconscious to be stored deeper. It is not just let go automatically. I want you to think about it. When you’re driving on the freeway (your regular route, say to work or to church) you may see a billboard. Sometimes you may not pay particular attention to that billboard, but you will realize that just because you looked at it, somehow you will remember it; and if, maybe, after a couple of months they change that billboard, you will quickly realize that it has been changed.

Now, another thing we need to understand is how the thoughts enter into our lives or minds. The two gates through which we receive them are the eyes and then the ears. Thoughts travel through the things we see and hear. Therefore in order to control of our thoughts, we’ve got to control the things we see and the things that we hear. Pay attention to what you are hear and to what you are see.

If you want to control your thought life, which eventually controls your life, you’ve got to be very careful about the things you see and the things you hear. As children of God, which we are, it is our responsibility to keep our eyes in the Word and our ears hearing the Word. We’ve got to surround ourselves with people that are going to build us up in the Word. We cannot afford to get caught up in things that are going to pull us down, bring fear, or minister discouragement and doubt. As much as possible, we have got to guard our hearts by guarding what we see and hear. Our focus should mainly be on the Word of God; hearing the Word of God, seeing the Word of God, reading books that are based on the Word, listening to people, like preachers and ministers, who minister encouragement, hope, and things that are going to show us the Godly direction which is the direction to where we are going. And that’s how we are going to be able to make the quality of our lives better.

I mentioned something, just a few minutes ago, about guarding your heart. This was with the understanding that thoughts begin as something in the head, and as they are meditated upon, giving them more time and focus, they move from the head into the heart forming our beliefs which in turn influence our actions and our speech. When you think about something long enough, you will create a belief. You then start acting on that belief that is taking action on the things that you believe and you will start also speaking the things that you believe. These are things that really give birth to what you become or what you are in life. They will create things like habits that will eventually drive you to a destiny. So in order to control your life, your destiny, thoughts are the foundation. You’ve got to start with your thoughts; and as I said, guard the thoughts that go through your ears and your eyes which are the two main gates. To control the quality of your life, you need be in control of what you see and what you hear.

I hope you have been encouraged and if you have found this helpful, I will appreciate your letting others know about it so that it can be a blessing to as many people as possible.

Again, it is Moses here at Christian Motivation saying stay blessed and keep the faith.

God bless.

Here is the transcription of the video

Hi, it’s Moses here at Christian Motivation. It is always an honor for me to motivate you, inspire you, encourage you, challenge you, help your thinking and stir up the gift that is in you by providing you with resources that will help you reign in life.

Today, I am privileged to share with you something that I believe is very important in that working and paying attention to it could determine the future quality of your life.

Now, one of the things that I do in my life is that every night before I get to bed, I always make sure I have my Bible, my notebook, and a pen close by my bed. And the reason for this is very simple. I usually wake up in the night when God is speaking to me about something. So what I want to do is to have my notebook and my pen handy to write down what God is telling me; or if there is a scripture that comes to my spirit man, as I say, I want to be able to wake up and just open the Bible, read the scripture and sometimes I’ll read and just start praying. Sometimes I just want to be able to write it down, go back to bed, and then in the morning, when I have the time, I will sit down and study or make notes on the things that God is talking to me about.

And so the other day, I woke up and the Holy Spirit just spoke to me four things that really can determine the quality of a person’s life. The Holy Spirit gave me four things that are very vital and can determine the quality of your life. I’m going to share with you, briefly, those four things, but today I will be concentrating on one and by the grace of God, some other time I’ll be talking about the other three. Let me just give you what those four things are:

1) Your thoughts. The Bible says in Proverbs 23:7 that as a man thinks, so is he. So your thoughts really have a great potential in determining the quality of your life.

2) Your decisions or you can say the choices we make in life. Now, if you don’t or haven’t realized, we are the only creatures in all of creation that have the ability to choose. We have the ability to make decisions. For example, if your life is going in a direction that you really don’t want it to go – you are able to change that direction by making a decision to take another direction. So the decisions that we make or the choices we make are very important. Our choice ability is so powerful that even God himself does not want to interfere with it. He gave us that ability to choose. In Deuteronomy, we are admonished to choose whom we will serve. Therefore this ability to make our own choices and our own decisions is something that can also affect or influence the quality of your life.

3) Your relationships is another thing that has the power to influence the quality of your life. When talking about relationships we will be considering two broad kinds which are: our relationship with God and our relationship with man. Someone once came to Jesus and asked him, what the most important commandment was. Jesus gave him two important commandments and added that all the other commandments really hang on these two. And what are the commandments? You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your mind, with all your soul, and with all your strength, and love your neighbor even as you love yourself. So relationship is very important, and we will be discussing later the various aspects of relationship to acquire more understanding. One of the things that I love to do is to take time and just meditate upon the things that God speaks and reveals to me. So as I meditate on these things, as I study them, and as I work on them, I will be sharing with you certain things that will challenge your mind and probably help you.

4) Time is the other thing that has the potential to determine the quality of your life. This is what I want to speak about today.

The reason why I want to speak about time is because I believe this is the right timing(FOR WHAT!!) – since we are talking about time, this is the right timing, so I just want to be able to help you out, I want to be able to help you out as I show the importance of time, but probably you will also see why I chose to focus on this path.

So let’s talk about time.

When talking about time, there are really two ways we can deal with our time. Remember we are talking about time in a given day, right? Two ways we can handle our time. Now here is something interesting about time. Time is the only resource- if I may categorize it as that-which we have in equality. Now, if we were talking about certain things like money, or knowledge, one may say, I don’t have enough money, or I don’t have enough knowledge to do that. I mean, one may be able to say that I don’t have something hence someone is at an advantage over me concerning that thing.

But time gives us an equal playground. We all have 24 hours in a day. Every one of us. Regardless of where you live, whether you’re in America, Africa, Australia, Asia – wherever you are – we all have 24 hours. But the way we manage this 24 hours determines the quality of our lives, it determines whether you end up being prosperous or you end up being a poor man. It is how you deal with your 24 hours. And when we talk about time – there are two ways, as I said earlier, we can deal with time.

One, you can invest your time; or two, you can waste time or spend it. You see, this is almost like money. You can either invest your money or you can just waste it and just spend it and at the end of the day you may wonder where your money went. But this is how we deal with time – every moment that we have, every minute that we have, every hour that we have, every day that we have, we either invest it or we just waste the day and spend it on useless things.

That is why it is very important to know and understand how to deal with time. In Ecclesiastes chapter 3 beginning with the first verse through the eighth verse, the preacher says that there is a time for everything. There is a time for everything. There is also a very important verse that I want to point out to you in Psalms 90:12 which reads: “So teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom”. So teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. In other words, Psalmist was asking God to help us to understand the value of time. Time is actually more valuable than money. Why? Because you see you can get more money with time; you can replenish money, but you cannot replenish time. You, in yourself, in your own ability, cannot get more time. When you lose that hour, when you lose that day, you’ve really lost it (Only God can redeem time for you that is if you allow Him). So, just for emphasis sake, it is very important that we know and we understand how we deal with time. Let me show you the reason why I think this is good timing for us to look at time.

Let’s look at 2011. One of the things that happens every time we come to the end of a year, people get excited about its end and they say things like ‘Oh! That was not a good year for me. That is not the kind of year I wanted. I am going to set new goals. I’m going to make sure this coming year is my year to prosper; it’s my year for breakthroughs; it’s my year to do wonderful things. I’m going to study business; I’m going to do this and that’. So we have all these resolutions of losing weight and getting more money and finishing our degrees and all kinds of wonderful dreams; and yet when we come to the end of the year, we wonder, wow, where did all my time go? How did I spend that year? Then we look forward to another year and we continue doing the same thing over and over again. Why? It’s because we start the year with this excitement and set goals and we know what we want, but then we lose track somewhere because we don’t take inventory of our time.

One of the things that I really like to do every now and then is to look at my life – take inventory of my life, and look at the things that I’ve done. It may be on a yearly basis, monthly basis, weekly basis, daily basis, whatever period I choose – I want to take time and reflect on my life and see whether I’m growing, see whether I’m making any progress, see where I need to change and where I need to focus and the things that I need to work on. The reason for this exercise is to help me move forward towards the goals that I have set for myself and ultimately align myself with the purpose that God has for my life.

I mentioned earlier that this is a wonderful time to be talking about time because I am going to show you how you can do it and looking at your life this way will help you see whether you are really on track toward where you want to be. Now when I look at a whole year, say 2011, I have 12 months and I set goals for the whole year. That is the big picture for the year. I have goals for the year. Then I divide the year into a half – that is, the first six months (January to June) and the last six months July to December. It’s not like you have different goals for each half period, but the thing is, you break down your yearly goals into smaller more manageable goals, so that you are able to track them in small numbers and see whether you are spending or investing your time.

Someone, I believe it was John Maxwell, said that if you gave him an opportunity to come your home and spend 24 hours with you, that is your 24 hours– from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed–you give him 24 hours just to look at how you spend your day, he could probably give you an idea of where you will end up in life. Why? Because of the realization that one important way we determine our destination in life, the part we play to determine how our life ends up, is how we handle our daily activities – the things we do on a daily basis, hourly basis, and moment by moment basis, in other words, how we invest/spend our time. Now comes the million dollar question– Are we investing our time or are we spending our time? So as you look at this – it helps you to break down your time in two measurable increments.

After looking at the six months plan/inventory, then you look at the quarters—which are three months each That is January to March, April to June, July to September, October to December. So right now, the reason why I said that this is really good timing is because at this particular time, we have come or we are coming to the close of the first quarter. In other words, the first quarter– January to March – is going to end, people, it is ending. So here is the question I have for you. What have you done with your time between the beginning of the year, 01/01/2011, uptil March? How have you spent or invested your time?

Now you can see how good it is for you to take inventory and to have ways of measuring what you have or are doing with your time. You can probably go ahead and break down the quarters into smaller periods like months, weeks, days and hours.

How are you spending your time? How many hours are you dedicating to what? How many hours are you dedicating to your relationships? How many hours are you spending with God? Though everyone has different circumstances, it is still very important for us to know how we are dealing with our time. You need to know if you are investing your time or just wasting your time. You really need to take inventory of your days to help you apply heart to wisdom.

One interesting thing we notice when we look back at the time God created the earth is that He gave us a pattern of how we should handle our time. In a nutshell it says that we should handle our time, in this case, our days, in a ratio of six to one – in other words, six days shall you work and one day shall you rest.

In other words, it’s kind of giving us a clue of how to manage or how to deal with our days like the scripture we read in Psalms 90 verse 12, asking God to teach us how to number our days so that we can apply hearts to wisdom. Every one of us has seven days. Six days shall you work and then one day to rest. Now, of course, I’m not talking about work here because that’s another topic altogether that we need to talk about. Some people may be in the wrong type of work or they don’t enjoy their work.

That is an issue we don’t have time to get into right now, but here what I’m trying to show you is how the ratio of work to rest, should be– 6 to 1 – and that is to do with days. This also gives us a clue of how diligent we are supposed to be in our work, in our calling, in our vocation, whatever you want to call it I believe you get the idea.

On the other hand, many people waste their time not having a plan, that is, they do not plan out ahead of time how they want to spend their time.

So any activity that comes by is welcome to take up their time. They find themselves maybe watching TV, even though TV was not in the schedule; they find themselves on the internet with Facebook and Twitter – all these social networking, as good as it is, we may easily find ourselves sitting on a computer and doing things that were not scheduled for. Sometimes we may go to the computer just to check out your e-mails and then the next thing you know, you are replying to e-mails and you are going into Facebook and you’re doing “research” that may not even be connected to anything that you planned for in your goals. Before you know it, you have just given up three hours of your time. This is something that is very common with people who don’t pay attention to how they are dealing with their time. People don’t know whether they are investing their time or they are spending their time. It’s important for us start looking at our time and treasure it. People, time is more valuable than money, as I said, because you can replenish your money but you cannot replenish your time. And it’s that equal ground that we have.

When you look at somebody who is doing better than you’re doing, it’s because of the way they are managing their time. They are investing their time. They’re not spending their time. My encouragement to you is that you start paying attention to your time. It is a life quality determinant.

There’s a scripture in Daniel 2:21 which talks about God working in seasons and times. You see, God is interested in time; that’s why when he created the heavens and earth, He set the timing—and the evening and the morning were the first day. There is a time factor involved in that. Times and seasons have a time factor involved in them.

Here is my encouragement. Look at your goals if you have any for this year and if you don’t then set at least a goal or two for the year 2011. Now, there are two kinds of people, I believe, I’m talking to here. Those that have already set goals and know where they’re heading to in 2011. Such people will find this system helpful in tracking those goals. For example, if someone set a goal for losing weight, say 30 pounds by the end of the year, it is time now evaluate it at the quarter level. At the end of the first quarter you need to look at the quarterly goal (which may be like 7.5 pounds off) and ask yourself, how many pounds have I lost in this first quarter? How far/close am I from my goal? If you haven’t lost any pounds in the first quarter, what makes you think that in the last three quarters, you are going to lose the 20 or 30 pounds that you set in your goal? Ladies and gentlemen, being off target may be a sign that you are wasting your time; or the other side of the coin, you are not investing your time. So you see how it is important to us to start paying attention to our time – how we deal with our time is going to determine where we are going to end up in life. It’s going to determine how your 2011 goals are going to come about.

Now, again there is another group of people that did not set goals at all – I hope this really stirs you up and motivates you and shows you that you need to start watching your time, and probably you come up with goals. Now today I realize I haven’t been talking about goals, vision, or purpose or any of that stuff – as I said I’ll be talking about this later on as and when I get the opportunity to. But today I just hope that what I have shared with you has really blessed you and that you will put it into practice. It doesn’t help you to watch this video or read this information and say, “oh, that was nice; oh, I need to do that”, and never get around to doing it. This is my encouragement that you do something about it. If you are not on track, do something to get on track. Invest your time instead of wasting it if there are things that you want to do in your life. Maybe you really love watching TV or you love going out and getting on the phone with friends, which is okay. All I’m saying is – give it time. Schedule that time in your day. Know when you’re going to do that, so that your time is invested, rather than wasted.

Until next time, I love you guys. I just want to encourage you – if you haven’t yet signed up for the communication, just sign up for the communication. Also if there’s someone you know that may benefit from what I’m sharing with you, I really would appreciate if you let them know about this video, resource, or website. I get pleasure in sharing. This is one of my purposes in life. Just sharing with the brethren the things that I have learned. This is what I have been called to do. This is what I’ve been gifted to do, and as I do that, it gives me pleasure and encourages me. My gift is to serve; so I want to make sure that I am serving you, even as you serve me, I know there is something that God has placed in you that is supposed to serve me. That’s how we work. I know that later on I’ll be talking about these things like giftings. This is what I’m called to do. This is what is in my heart, just to share with you, to motivate you, to encourage you, to inspire you, and to provide you with resources like this that will help you reign in life.

Again, it’s Moses here at Christian Motivation – keep the faith and stay blessed.
