Here is the Transcription of the video:

Praise the Lord. Moses here again at Christian Motivation. I do hope that you are doing fine. Again I’m just continuing with this service that I’m doing about prayer, just giving you a few inspirations and motivations here and there hoping that they will bless you and they will take you into a deeper time with the Lord in prayer.

So in the first video we talked about what prayer is, and we said that prayer is about communicating with God, we said that prayer is about asking, believing, and receiving, and we said that prayer is about asking in accordance with the will of God, not just asking anything, but you ask based on the word of God or the will of God. And we say that God desires to give you the things that you ask for. Why? Because he is glorified, we saw the scripture in John chapter 15.

In the last video I talked about that there’s a deeper level of praying that is better, or is deeper than just asking for daily needs. Most of the Christians in the church, most of the people in the church, look at prayer and all they go to do in prayer is just ask for their daily needs, the money they want, the rent they want, the mortgage they want, the wives they want or the spouses they would want to get, or the jobs they want, it’s all about me, me, me; asking and asking and asking about the daily needs.

Now I say those are not bad things to ask for and God wants to make those things, but I encourage you saying that there is a deeper way, or there is a deeper level in prayer where it’s not about the needs because the Bible tells us Jesus was teaching his disciples to pray and he told them that God already knows the things that we are in need of.
So prayer really shouldn’t be about our daily things because he knows that we need those.

But there’s a deeper level where you go to God and all you want is to know more of him, is to build up your relationship with him, is to get to see him, is to get to experience is power, the glory, and the things that are hidden in him. Those are the things that you want to go after. So we say that that’s the deeper way, a deeper benefit of prayer. And we also say the other deeper benefit of prayer is for us to look at God, see what he’s doing, and then be able to do it here on Earth. To listen to him, hear what he’s saying, and be able to speak it here on Earth. In other words, bringing the rulership or the dominion of the Kingdom of God here on Earth. That is another deeper benefit of prayer.

Today what I want to do is just give you a few points, a few ideas, a few things that you can use during your prayer time, because you see most of the time you will hear that people will say that they don’t have the time to pray, or they don’t know how to pray, we always come up with excuses. And I’ve realized that those are excuses that we make up. So today I just want to give you a few things, a few pointers that could probably help you in your prayer, in your prayer life.

First and foremost, when you come to God to pray remember that you should not try to put up a front. Don’t try to be who you are not, don’t try to use words that are big, do not try to put on a show. God knows everything about you. I realize that some people think that prayer is all about coming to God and trying to put up this show of trying to use big words and maybe some of us learned certain things when we give our lives to Christ, and we thought that that’s maybe how prayer should be done. Some of us sort of misunderstand what prayer is all about.

So the first thing that I want you to know is do not try to be who you are not when you come to God, just be yourself. When you come to God hurting, just come and tell him, “God, I’m hurting, just because such and such a thing happened.” If you come to him and you’re happy, just come to him and praise him. Don’t try to be who you’re not. Remember, prayer is all about communication. So just come to him knowing this: God is ready to receive you; whether you are in pain or you are in joy, God is ready to receive you.

So the first thing you want to do is just come as you are. I love the name of that song. Just come as you are, really just come as you are. Don’t try to be somebody else in the presence of God, just be an open book because he knows everything about you. And then the other thing is you want to try and look at your schedule and see what really the best time is for you, because everyone has times that really work well for him. But don’t try again to choose a schedule where maybe the time you give to God is the time that is after work and you are tired, you can’t really pray; you always want to make sure you are giving God the first best. Look for the very best of time that you have where you are alert.

Now, you see, when we say that we don’t have time for prayer, really what we are saying is that we don’t know the importance of prayer. Because when you realize the importance of prayer you’ll be able to make sure that you give God the very best time that you have, because I guarantee you if you have a job and they want you to be there at a certain time, you always do whatever it takes even if you have to sleep for two hours so you can be at that job, you will do whatever it takes.

Why? Because there’s a certain kind of importance that you place on that job. You know you need the paycheck, you know you need that money to pay your bills or use however way you want to use it. That’s why you make sure that you do whatever it takes to be there on time, even though you did not have enough rest. That is the kind of attitude we should bring in prayer. We should realize the importance of prayer and be able to give God the very best of our time.

Now it doesn’t have to be a long prayer, it doesn’t have to be any certain way; the only thing that you want to really focus on is that you are giving him the very best time where you are concentrating on him, that’s the only way that really you are going to enjoy prayer. The other thing, don’t be caught up in things like how is your posture and the duration of prayer, whether you’re supposed to spend an hour or two hours or three hours, or thirty minutes, don’t be caught up in that.

Just be caught up in one thing: in God. Just have one desire, to communicate with God and to enjoy God, because I’ll tell you this: When you start to enjoy God, sometimes you will not know, you’ll be in his presence for an hour and it will seem like you’ve been there for three minutes. When you start to enjoy God, sometimes you’ll be in his presence praying for three hours and it will look like you’ve been there for five minutes because you are so caught up in communicating with him.

And when you get to that level when you are enjoying him, you’ll realize that prayer is not just even about a place, you’ll realize that your whole life was set to become a life of prayer where it doesn’t matter where you are, you are always in communication with him. But there are certain disciplines that are really important for us to do so that we get our bodies or our lives in discipline, so finding a good time is very important.

And the other thing is finding a place where you will not be disturbed, where you will not be disrupted by other things. Try not to be in a place where you can easily get on your computer or where you can easily pick up your phone or where you can easily have people disturbing you. Try and go with a place where all those disruptions will not take place, where you will just have your time, you and Him enjoying one another. That is one of the things that you should try and figure out, which place can really give you that.

Now sometimes you may not have that place but what you can do is you may have a time, for example, it may be you have a small house where you really don’t have the place in the house where you can go and spend time with him, what you can do is maybe go outside in a park, and just enjoy Him. Maybe in the mountains, maybe in the hills, wherever it is that you can find a quiet place. Or maybe a churchyard if the church is open and no-one is there and you can spend time with God, or it may be that all you have to do is just twist around the hours.

You could wake up in the middle of the night when everybody is asleep and then you could have time by yourself where you don’t have any disruption. It’s all about knowing the important of prayer and being creative in finding out exactly when you can pray.

But again, don’t worry so much about the small things that I’ve realized people worry about, maybe things like postures. When you read the word of God you realize that people prayed in different postures. There are times I will be praying and I will be lying on the floor, there will be times I will be walking around. I like walking around because it kind of gives me the energy, it gets my emotions up.

There are times you will find me praying but I’m seated in one place and I’m not moving. There are times you will find me praying kneeling down. It all depends on really the mood I’m in, so I’m not so much caught up in the posture. You’ll realize that when your focus is on God and not all these other things that you will enjoy prayer more and prayer will become meaningful to you.

But the things that are most important is choosing a time where you’re not tired, where your brain is alert, where you’re alert and you can communicate to God. The other thing is choosing a place, if you can choose a place where you don’t have any disruptions because I’ve come to realize that we have a lot of distractions and we have to purpose to separate ourselves so that we can go after God. So it’s very important that you choose that. And then the other thing that we must remember is that we should not try to put up a front. Don’t be who you are not, just come to God as you are because he already knows about you, and then just be yourself.

Again, those are simple things, but they’re things that people don’t really think about. I hope they bless you, and I hope when you go to pray you start to pay attention to those things when you realize you need a place where you can just spend time with you and God and without any distraction, you can choose a time that is good where you will really just be alert. I love the nights, when people are asleep, and I love the mornings.

Now, my schedule is really crazy, in that sometimes I can’t really do it that way, but I always want to make sure that I get times where I’m more alert than times when I’m tired, because I’ve come to realize when I’m tired I really can’t do much, I really can’t concentrate, so I end up just sleeping or just resting or just relaxing, so I prefer the times when I’m alert.

I hope those are a few things that really will bless you and will help you in your prayer life. I hope God blesses you. God bless you. Again, Moses here at Christian Motivation saying stay blessed, keep the faith, and reign in life.

Here is the transcription to the video:

Praise the Lord. Moses here from Christian Motivation, I do hope and believe that you are doing fine.

This is the second video that I’m sharing about prayer. In the first video we talked about what prayer is and we said that prayer is all about asking and communicating to God. We say that prayer is asking, believing, and receiving. And I also said in that video that even though you may have heard that there are three answers to prayer, either a “yes”, a “no” or a “wait”, that is not true because we do not see it in the word of God. We see that in the word of God it is written that the promises of God are “yes” and “amen” through the Lord Jesus Christ.

In other words we see that if you see in the word of God that God has already promised you something, you come to Him with confidence believing that he will do what he has promised to do. So prayer is about asking, it’s about believing, and it’s about receiving.

Today I just want to go a little deeper and say that prayer is not just about asking. You see, when we think about prayer sometimes all we think about is for us to just go and tell God what we want. So we almost make him like a casino machine where every time we’re in need of something we just go and ask him for something, we are always in that mode of asking, asking, asking.

Now remember I said in the first video that it is not only about asking, but it is also about communication. And I believe that the best thing about prayer is the communication we get in prayer. In other words we learn more about God because remember I just want to equate this to someone, when you are in a relationship with somebody you love, how you communicate. You love to hear from that person, you want to talk to them; you share a communication between the two of you. That is how prayer should be. That is a better way to pray. When you are in love with our Father, when you are in love with God, when you are in love with Jesus, with the Holy Spirit, you will have this desire where you just want to enjoy one another, you just want to spend time with him in prayer.

I was talking with a friend of mine, a pastor friend of mine, and we were discussing this topic of prayer and I like the word he used. He said that prayer is a journey; it’s about a journey where you are just discovering yourself, discovering certain things about even prayer itself, about the Lord Jesus Christ, about the work of the Holy Spirit, about the power of God. When you get to that point where prayer ceases to be about asking something and prayer is all about your relationship with God, you will realize that you will have these other things added unto you.

I’m reminded of a scripture, the scripture in Matthew chapter 6 that says “But seek first after the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness and these other things that the people of the world are looking after shall come flowing unto you, shall be added unto you, “ I’m reminded of that scripture. That’s what prayer should be about. You should be so concerned about your relationship with God that all the other things will be added unto you. You must realize that God loves you so much that he wants to provide for all your needs, he wants to give you everything that you desire. He knows that you need these things and he wants to give them to you. It’s just like when you are in love with somebody, you just find yourself just giving.

The Bible says God has already given us our best, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. Now if he’s already given us his best, what else can he withhold from us? So we must understand that prayer is not just about you asking for your needs; it’s part of asking for your needs, but there is a better way. Let me say there is a deeper level in prayer, where it’s not just about your needs, but it’s about the relationship that you have with God, and that’s what I desire that you and I get to, where we are spending time with God and we are just enjoying God. When you get to that level where you are enjoying God you will even realize that your prayer is not about asking, it’s all about worshipping, it’s all about praising God, it’s all about giving thanks, it’s all about enjoying him. And when you get to that level things will be added to you without you asking.

In Uganda where I come from we have a song that says that there are things that God does for me even before I ask. When you get to that level of prayer where prayer is about communing with God you will realize that there are things in your life that God will do without you even asking why, because now you are there with him, he is enjoying you, you are enjoying him, and things are just happening. That’s what I want you and I to get to, a level where we go into prayer and all we do is we want to know God more, we want him to reveal himself to us, we want to know the deep things in God, the things that we haven’t yet known, the revelations that we haven’t yet got, the powers that we haven’t yet experienced, the love that we haven’t yet experienced, the glory that we haven’t yet tested. Those are the things that we should be going after.

We should go so much after God in prayer, not for the things that we need, because the Bible says that he already knows what we need, but we should go for the things that we want to experience in him, and that’s one of the benefits of prayer, getting to know our Father more, just getting to communicate with him, just getting to pour out our lives, our hearts to him. To other benefit of prayer, I believe, is that when we go to Him in prayer we learn to bring the Kingdom of God here on Earth. You remember when Jesus was teaching the disciples how to pray, he said that one of the things that they should pray for is that his Kingdom should come.

Now when we talk about the Kingdom of God we are talking about God’s rulership, or God’s dominion to be manifested here. How does he do that? He does that through us. Remember, we are the body of Christ; we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. So God is working in us, he is living in us so that he can affect this whole world. So one of the things that prayer does is it brings us to that place where we can bring the rulership and the reign of our Father, or the Kingdom of Heaven here on Earth. That is the beauty of prayer. So as we engage in prayer, as we get closer to God, as we go after him, his thirst to empower us, his thirst to reveal to us what he wants to do here on the Earth, and then we will start going out there and bringing forth the Kingdom of God. So I believe that’s the other benefit of prayer.

So the better benefits of prayer – don’t misunderstand me, prayer is also asking about where you’ve gone, ask and petition god for your needs, but I’m telling you there’s a deeper level where you go and all you want is to know him, all you want is to experience more of him. Now when you get to that level things just are kind of attracted to you. That’s where I hope you will get to, where you just want to enjoy him. Think about Jesus; the Bible has recordings where he would spend hours; he would spend almost a whole night in prayer. What was he doing? Do you think he was all about asking about stuff? I don’t think so. I think he was just out there, just looking at the Father, just listening to the Father. Because he says that that whatever he saw God do, that’s what he did. Whatever he heard God speak, that’s what he spoke.

So we should be at that level where we go after God in prayer and all we want is to hear what he has to say so that we can speak it. All we want is to hear what he has to say so that we can speak it. All we want is to see what he’s doing so that we can do it, so that we can be representative. The Bible says that we are ambassadors here on Earth. The bible tells us to be imitators of God. So how do we do that? Through prayer we can learn to look to him, and then as we look to him we will be able to reflect what he is and who he is to the world, and then people will be blessed.

I will share with you some other things about prayer, but I just wanted to share with you these two and let you know that prayer is not just about asking, but it’s about pursuing God, it’s about communicating with God at a deeper level that is deeper than just asking for our day to day needs. He knows that we need those and I guarantee you he will give you those things, but we should get to that level where we go after him with all our hearts. He has promised that when we seek him with all of our hearts we will find him, and I believe that as we do that as children of God, as the charge, we’ll be able to influence this world more than we have done in the past.

I hope that blesses you and I hope you go to God at a deeper level where all you desire is not just about your needs, but all you desire is to see him more, to see what he’s doing so you can do it, to hear what he’s saying so you can speak it, and be a blessing to the people out there. I wish you all the best. Again; stay blessed, keep the faith, and go out there and reign in life. God bless you, bye-bye.

Here is the transcription of the video

Praise the lord my brothers and sisters, Moses here from Christian Motivation. I do hope and believe that you are doing fine. What I want to do today is to start a service of just very short videos talking about the subject of prayer. And that’s because somebody was asking me about prayer, so I decided I would do some short videos about prayer. And I remember a while ago I had a discussion with some of my friends, and we were just talking about different aspects of prayer. So what I want to do in these short videos is just share with you a few things about prayer in hopes that you will go and dig deeper and try to find out more about prayer.

You see, as Christians, even though we have different dominations there are some things that we all believe and that we all know that are true. One of the things that we all believe is prayer. We all know that we need to pray, we all know how important prayer is. But the challenge is that maybe we don’t know how to go about prayer or we don’t know what prayer is, it’s because maybe the way people that we’ve been sitting under, the way people teaching us have confused us, so they misrepresented the gospel to us and we don’t really understand what prayer is.

So in this first video what I want to do is just share with you what prayer is. Prayer is simply, when you go and read the scriptures or you go and look at the Hebrew work for prayer or the Greek word for prayer, you realize that prayer is as simple as asking. That’s what I was able to find out when I looked at the dictionary, the bible dictionary, it still said the same thing; prayer is about asking, it’s about communicating with a deity. So here’s what prayer is: It’s asking; as simple as that. And then the other thing that you can say prayer is, is communicating; communicating with God. That’s really what prayer is, as simple as that. We don’t need to complicate it any further than that.

But let me just share with you a little deeper about something about prayer. You see, God desires to answer each of our prayers. Now, I know that you’ve probably had somebody somewhere or at some time say that prayer can either be answered in three ways, either yes, no, or wait. Now when you look in scripture you won’t see that written anywhere. So I suggest that people mix up their doctrine or they mix up their thinking with what the word says. The word does not say that prayer has three answers, it’s either a “yes”, or a “no”, or a “wait”, all that the word says is the promises of God are “yes” and “amen” through Jesus Christ. God desires to answer us when we pray.

Now what I want to share with you is the condition of having your prayer answered. What is the condition? Jesus said in John 15:7-8 “If you are biding me, and my words are biding you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified that he bear much fruit, so shall ye be my disciples.” So we see from the scripture that God is glorified when we bear fruit; in other words, when we get our prayers answered. But the condition is that God’s word, Jesus’s word, abides in us and we abide in the Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, it’s as simple as saying that we should pray in accordance to the will of God.

What is the will of God? His word. When we know what his word says, when we know what he has promised us, then we come to him with confidence knowing that he has promised us that which he wants to give to us, so we do not come as if we are begging or trying to push him and coerce him into doing certain things for us, but we come to him knowing that he has already promised and it is already a done deal through the Lord Jesus Christ. Why? Because the promises of god are “yes” and “amen” through the Lord Jesus Christ. They’re not “no”, they’re not “wait”, they’re “yes” and “amen”. And also in Mark 11:24 Jesus said “Therefore I say unto you what things so ever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them.”

So the other thing that I want to tell you about prayer is that prayer is about asking, believing, and receiving. You ask, you believe, and then you juxtaposition yourself to receive. Why? Because when you pray according to the will of God, you realize and you understand that God already is willing to give that to you. He has already promised it, and he has already done it through the Lord Jesus Christ.

So you just come to him based on his word, you ask him what he has promised, you believe – because it is really useless for you to come to God asking him for something and yet believing that he can’t do that for you. So when we come to him, first and foremost we should make sure that we believe. And the best way to do that is first and foremost look for the scriptures or the promises that he has spoken about concerning your situation, whether it be healing, whether it be health, whether it be provision, your finances, your relationships.

Whatever the situation is you should first find out what God has said, then take time to meditate on what God has said concerning your situation, and when you meditate on that word faith will build up because the Bible says that faith comes by hearing the word of God. So as you read that word, as you meditate on it, as you speak it out, your faith builds up and when it builds up you come to God with all the confidence and say that “God, this is what you’ve promised, so I’m asking you, I’m believing in you, and I am ready to receive.” And when you do that God will answer your prayers.

So answers to prayer are not “yes”, “no”, and “wait”. They are “yes”, if you pray according to the will of God. So in brief, what is prayer? Prayer is asking, it’s believing, and receiving. Prayer is communicating with God. Now, in another video I’ll share with you more about the important of prayer, why we should pray, because it’s not just about asking. There is a something deeper and something better other than just asking for your daily food. But, in simplicity, prayer is asking, believing, and receiving. If you ask according to the will of God, your answer should be manifesting very soon.

I hope that blesses you, it’s Moses here at Christian Motivation saying stay blessed, keep the faith, and go out there and reign in life. God bless you, bye-bye.

Here is the transcription

Praise the Lord my brother and sister. Moses here from Christian Motivation, I hope and believe that you are doing fine.

In today’s podcast I just want to continue from where I left off in last time’s podcast. Last time I promised you when I shared with you my testimony that I would be sharing with you a continuation, and just talk about again my testimony about how things changed for me in 2007. So I shared with you and I told you that when I gave my life to Jesus Christ I was so hungry for God that I was pained, I was just seeking the face of the Lord in prayer, in fasting, and in reading the word. I’d spend most of my time just fellowshipping with God.

What happened though is somewhere along the way I started listening to people, I started listening to preachers and listening to pastors and teachers of the word, and before you know it there was kind of a doctrine that I started listening to that wasn’t really all that’s right, let me just say it wasn’t right. And it’s not that I was in a cult, but it’s something I have realized that is preached by many people, whereby when you hear some of the preachers that are preaching the word of God on radio and television and in churches, they preach a word where they’re more telling people that they’ve got to do something in order to earn the faith of God, or to earn the love of God. They may not necessarily maybe intend to preach that, but when you hear most of what people are preaching nowadays, it’s more about what people have to do in order to get God’s approval.

For example I remember I used to desire to be anointed when I had just given my life to Christ, and the way it started was all I was desirous of was just to go after God, and I was passionate about God. But you know, I came to appoint where it almost felt like preachers and people that were teaching the word of God were saying for me to be anointed I had to spend a lot of time in prayer, I had to fast, I had to do all these things, I had to give; it was almost like there was a condition for you to be used by God, there was a condition for you to get wealthy, there was a condition for you to be anointed, there was a condition almost for you to get everything. It felt like if you wanted God to come through for you you had to spend a lot of time just praying, just interceding, just calling on the name of God, and in 2007 that changed for me.

And the way that came about is one time a friend of mine was watching television and she came across a program by Andrew Omak, and she started listening to him, and when she heard the things that he was teaching, somehow she was kind of surprised by the teachings that Andrew was teaching, so she came and she told me about him, she said “Moses, you need to listen to this guy. I go to his website and I just thought of you.” So she gave me the website, so I went to Andrew Omak’s website and I started listening to Andrew Omak. And you know it’s amazing because the first time I listened to him I was kind of shocked by the things he was teaching about the love of God, about the grace of God. And it’s almost like he was teaching the opposite of the things I had grown up knowing.

So I really listened to him and I had to go to the word of God and look at the things that he was teaching to see whether what he was teaching was really right. And I was surprised by what I started to discover. I mean, it’s almost like my whole theology was messed up, it was turned upside down, and the more I listened to him and the more I looked at the scriptures, there was a change that I had to go through, and I’m still going through that change because I started now to understand the unconditional love of God. I started to understand the grace of God. I started to understand what it means to walk by faith. I really started to understand the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ, and what happened is – I mean I came to a point where I just even- I stopped doing everything I was doing, like you know like spending time in prayer, and all the things I was doing. I had to first kind of cut them off and get my theology right because I realized everything I had done before was now based on because I wanted to kind of get approved by God, I wanted to find favor with God and I was using my efforts for me to be able to get something from God. So even if it meant I was praying for somebody, or if I wanted to be used by God, I felt like I had to do something in order to earn my way to God’s heart.

But the more I started studying the scriptures and listening to Andrew Omak, I realized that I had to change the way I looked at God, the way I viewed God. So I went on this search of studying the word, and I’m still under this. I went to Bible College so that I can get my theology right, so that I can start to look at the scriptures without really adding in the opinions of man, without adding in my own opinions but just really looking at the scriptures and understanding and rightfully divining the word of God. And what that has started to do in my life is really to bring about a transformation that is not based on my efforts or my works, but a transformation that is based on the finished work of the Lord Jesus Chris.

When you read the book of Galatians, you see that God talks about – oh, not God, Paul. Paul talks to the Galatians and says “You foolish people. You started your war with God in the spirit. Are you now turning to your own efforts?” So he called them foolish for them to be turning to their own efforts, yet that had started on a right track. So I realized I too had started on a right track but somewhere along the way I was misled, and I’m not blaming anybody for that because I should have been really rightly divining the word of God.

But I thank God that now I’ve started to rightly divine the word of God. And the best scripture I can think of that can really drive home what I’m trying to talk about is the parable of the prodigal son. When you go to Luke chapter 15 and read about Luke chapter 15, Luke chapter 15 has different parables but it’s really talking about the same subject. But starting in verse 11 it talks about the prodigal son, and hopefully some of you know – most of you know about the prodigal son. But one of the interesting things about the story that I want you to think about is the kind of relationship the older son and the young son had with the father. So we begin looking at the parable and we see where the young son comes to the father and says “You know what? Before you die, I just want to make sure I have my portion of the inheritance. So may you give me my portion?” And the Bible says that the father divided the portion, the inheritance, between these two sons.

So the purpose is that there were only two sons, and the father divided the inheritance between these two sons, which meant that the oldest son got his portion of the inheritance, and the young son got his portion of the inheritance. And so we know that the young son goes and then he spends all his inheritance, and we see later on in the parable that he comes home because he came to his senses, and he said “You know what? I know I have messed up but I’m going to go back to my father, I’m going to repent, I’m going to tell him I’m sorry. I messed up, I’m not worthy to be called your son, just let me be your servant.

The Bible says that before he could even really get to the father the father saw him and the father was very happy to see him, he ran and he was hugging him, and the young son started to talk to the rather and repenting and saying “I’m sorry, I’m not worthy to be called your son, just treat me as a servant.” And the father couldn’t even listen to that, all the father could say was tell the servants to go and bring the ring and bring the robe and put it on his son. In other words he wasn’t going to treat him as a servant; he was going to treat him as a son because he was the son.

So they throw this party, and then the older son, the elder son, comes home. And the elder son asks one of the servants what was happening, and so the servant tells him what was happening, and he was so angry he didn’t even want to go in the house, and then when the dad came out to give him the good news and ask him to come in the house, this guy was really mad at the father and he says “I have worked for you all these years, and you have never even given my anything. I have never been bad, I’ve never rebelled against you, yet this son of yours goes, he rebels, and when he comes home all you can do is throw him a party? You’ve never thrown me a party!” I mean, he was so angry at the father.

But we see the father tells him what joy it was for his brother to have come home, because it’s like he was lost but now he’s found, and he tells him “Everything that I have is yours.” In other words, all along, this guy, the elder brother, had his portion of the inheritance but he wasn’t using it, and the way he was approaching the father, he was approaching the father based on what he had done or what he had not done, because he tells him “See? I have never rebelled against you; I have always done what you want me to do.” So this elder brother was coming to the father on the basis of works. And yet when the young brother came home, he just came as one that was repentant, and he was just relying on the father’s grace and the father’s mercy. And so the relationship was still there, whether before or after, the relationship was still there.

So it is with us, one thing we have to understand really is that we are children of God. Jesus Christ has already done everything that needs to be done, that we do not have to. We do not have to do anything to earn favor or to earn God’s love. Everything that needs to be done has already been done. When you and I get to understand that Jesus has done everything that needs to be done, we get into a deeper level, we get into a stronger relationship with God because now we are not coming to God with – we are not trying to perform before God, but we come on the basis of relationship.

I realize that when I started out seeking the Lord, all I wanted was a relationship. But along the way I started to get into this performance mindset where I thought I had to do something in order to get God to do something to me. But I thank God because now I understand that I don’t have to do anything, so when I come before the Father I come on the basis of relationship, I come knowing that I don’t have to do anything to be loved by God, I don’t have to do anything to have the favor of God, I just need to come on the basis of relationship.

My God is my Father, and nothing can change that. The Bible says I am adjunct with Jesus Christ, the Bible says I am the child of God. There is nothing that can change that. So when I come to God I have to come boldly, knowing that I have a relationship with him, knowing that he is for me, and he is not against me. When you start to understand that you are related to God, it changes the way you relate with him, it changes how you look at prayer, it changes how you look at fasting, it changes how you look at worship, it changes how you look at giving, it changes how you look at anything you do with God. Because now it’s not something you do to earn anything from God, but it’s something you do because you love to. It’s something you do because you get to. It’s something you do because you enjoy. So it’s not performance based, but it is relationship based. To me that was a big deal. It has been a big deal. There’s a lot of relearning that I had to do, there is a lot of relearning that I still need to do.

The Bible says that you should train a child in the way that they should go, and when they grow they will not depart from that way. What I have realized is because I spent a lot of years in my early Christian life getting all this wrong doctrine, it’s now taking a lot of effort for me to be able to break those wrong doctrines, the wrong theology, I really have to work hard at realizing that it’s based on relationship, I don’t have to perform anything. And I thank God because that is starting to change, things are starting to change for me, and I know for a fact that there are not many people, there are not really many Christians that really stand to preach about the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ, the unconditional love of God, and the grace of God.

Most of the preachers, most of the teachers that you hear on radio, you see on television, they kind of teach a Gospel that is not really the Gospel. The Gospel says it’s good news, but most of the preaching we hear really is more about the things that we need to do in order for God to do something, it’s more about – sometimes you’ll hear preachers talk about God’s judgment, and all this other stuff that really is contrary to what the Word of God says.

But I’m so grateful to God that with me – at least that’s part of my testimony – that God was able to bring people along my path where I have been able to change the way that I look at things, where I’m not removing the doctrines and the opinions of man and just focusing on the word of God, and going back to that place where Paul was talking to the Galatians, he was telling them to return to that place where it is just based on faith, on just trusting and believing the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ. And that is really what I want to do, when it comes to Christian Motivation. I want to share with you the things that I’m learning, and the things that will really cause us as children of God to reign in life. Until we understand the unconditional love of God, until we understand the truth, we can never be set free. The Bible says that when we know the truth the truth shall set us free. It is truth that will be able to set you and I free from all these bondages and doctrines of man. And I do hope that as time goes on I’ll be able to share with you that, and I hope that it will be a blessing to you.

So that really concludes my testimony, and I pray that you too will, if you haven’t yet really understood the grace of God, the unconditional love of God, the mercy of God, the goodness of God, and the faithfulness of God, I pray that the Holy Spirit will open your eyes, will open your heart, will open your ears to the word of truth, that you too will be set free.

I’m excited about sharing with you the things that I’m learning, and I know that you and I will truly reign in life. So until next time it’s Moses here from Christian Motivation, wishing you the best. Again, don’t forget to go to the website and check out and of the resources that I have there. God bless you, bye-bye.

Praise the Lord my brother and sister. Moses here from Christian Motivation, I hope and believe you are doing fine.

So the last time we talked I shared with you about myself, and I promised that I will be sharing with you about my testimony. So in this podcast I briefly want to share with you my testimony, so at least you get to know how I give my life to Jesus Christ.

I grew up in a single parent home, and I also grew up in a home that was really full of love. I had parents that surrounded me with love. Now realize I said parents; and the reason why I said I had parents is because I grew up not only with my mom but my uncles, aunties, and my grandparents, all surrounding me with their love and supporting me.

When I look back to my childhood, I’m really so grateful that I grew up in a family that truly loved me and cared for me. My mom loves me so much. It’s one thing when somebody says she loves you, somebody says they love you, it’s another thing when they really demonstrate that love to the point that you feel loved, and that’s what I grew up with. I grew up with a mom that not only said she loved me, but she demonstrated that love to me.

I also grew up with grandparents that loved me, that demonstrated their love for me. I grew up with my uncle and my aunties all demonstrating love to me, and I’m so grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to grow up in that environment. You see, I’ve heard the statement made that you cannot choose your family. Well, even though I wasn’t able to choose my family, I am so grateful to God that that is the family I grew up in, because I believe that who I have become and what I have become has been a result of the love that was implanted in my life at an early age.

And so I just want to encourage the parents out there – and this is on a side note – that you really learn to demonstrate your love towards your children. Even though you may not be the direct mother or the direct father of a child, but if you are maybe the uncle or you are a family friend, or you are an aunt or a grandparent, whatever role you can play in a child’s life, I think that is important because I have personally seen it operate in my life that who I have become is really as a result of growing up in a stable and loving family.

I know that every family has some weaknesses here and there but I never felt that while growing up. But the challenge of growing up in a Christian home may be that when you grow up and you have always been going to church, you may mistakenly think that just because you go to church that makes you a Christian. You may think that just because your parents are Christians that makes you a Christian. At least as far as I know everyone who surrounded me was a Christian, we would go to church every Sunday, it’s a day we looked forward to. We would pray together every day, before we had dinner we would just come together in prayer and pray and share from the word of God and just learn more about God. And so from my early childhood I got to know about God.

Now I remember I saw a billboard one time that said that a family that prays together stays together. That was true in my family and in my upbringing. We always prayed together every day. I also remember – I don’t know if it’s Hillary Clinton that wrote a book or she just said something like, she quoted something that says that it takes a village to raise a child. To me that is so – it is so true in my life that it took the love and the support of all these family members in my life, and I just am so grateful to God for them.

But so when I go to high school, you know how teenagers are, so when I became a teenager I started really – yes, I loved God, and I had a reverence for God, but you know he wasn’t a priority in my life. I still went to church every Sunday, those are disciplines that had been instilled in me as a young child and so when I grew up they were still disciplines that I treasured. You know how The Bible says that you train a child in the way that they should grow, and when they grow up they will not depart from it? Well I still had the reverence for God. I remember in my high school some kids would be making fun of God, I wouldn’t have even dared try to make fun of God, I wouldn’t have even dared try to make fun of God, I wouldn’t even want to be involved in those conversations where they were making fun of God because I had a reverence for God.

But the time came where I can truly say that I seriously and intentionally surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. And that day that leads to that, the day I give my life to Jesus Christ was July the 21st of 1996. But before that, I remember the night before that was a Saturday, we had been to a dance. The school that I was in used to prepare dances where we would just go out and dance. And I remember we had been to this particular dance, and I had left the dance at around maybe 3 o’clock in the morning, going back to the dormitory. I was in a boarding school, so I went back to the dormitory. And so by the time I get to bed it was probably around maybe 4 o’clock or 5 o’clock in the morning, and by 7, 8 o’clock I did not have any more sleep. I just couldn’t sleep for some reason.

One of my friends came and asked me if I could go with him to the scripture union. He wasn’t actually my friend but you know how you are at school where almost everybody’s your friend as long as you know eachother, then you call yourselves friends? So this guy was Christian, and he saw that I was in bed but I was awake, so he asked me whether I could go with him to a fellowship. And we had a fellowship at school; it was called Christian Fellowship, that’s where the students would meet just to pray and to fellowship and to talk about God. And I remember telling him that I wasn’t interested in going to the fellowship, so he left and went. But I realized, well, I did have sleep, I was kind of bored, so I decided after he had gone to just dress up and go to the fellowship.

And when I got there, I remember I think they were coming to the close of the worship service, you know like the praise and worship, and I just went and sat at the very last desk in the classroom that we were in, and I remember I sat while we were praising and worshipping. But from the moment I entered the classroom and sat down, the one thing that really caught my attention, I had never ever seen young people that were truly passionate about the Lord Jesus Christ. I had been to church, and I had other people that were in church – I don’t know what to say, but let me say that there were old people, but I don’t mean as in that they were very old, what I mean is that they were adults, I think that’s the word I’m looking for.

All the people that were in church and were passionate about God were adults. I had never seen a service where it was only young people, teenagers, that were truly passionate about the Lord Jesus Christ. And so for some reason, I was surprised to see that there were people, and there were young kids, who were so passionate about God. And I remember sitting there and listening to them testify of what God was doing in their lives, I remember listening to them, they would give scriptures, they would quote scriptures, and tell you exactly where that the scriptures are from.

Now I had been to church and I knew what the Bible says, but this was totally different. The way these guys were and these gals were was amazing. I mean you just know there’s something special about their lives, there’s something that God has really done in their lives. This isn’t something that they were just talking about, but they really had a relationship with God. And I remember the guy who preached, for some reason he decided to preach about music and he was telling us all these things about music and about Lucifer and how Lucifer fell, and all about the music industry. Remember, the night before I had been to a disco, I had been to a dance, so this guy starts talking about music and he was talking about things I had never heard before. So after he preaches, then another girl comes to close the service and I remember she spoke a scripture, and I can never forget the scripture. I remember her standing there and saying that “I want you to remember.” And as she said this she almost was like she was looking at me, as if she was talking to me, and I was at the back of the room and I was just sweating. I mean, sweat was pouring down, I was on tension, and she was saying “I want you to remember, Jesus did not come to save those that are righteous. He came to call us sinners to repentance.” And I was looking at her and I was wondering why is she looking at me and why is she speaking to me. And she gave an altar call and I did not go.

Now because I grew up in a Christian home, every time, I remember every time I used to go to a church and they would give altar calls I would go for the altar calls because I just felt like I needed to rededicate my life to Jesus once again. But for some reason this time it was like I froze in the back of the seat and I was just sweating, sweat was pouring down me, but I did not go up there. And I remember the service closed and I left that place.

But it’s like I left, and something had just clicked in my life, something had changed in my life. I left, I went back to the dormitory, I couldn’t even go to have lunch. And that evening – back home inUgandawe have times, you know like we would call them preparations. But in boarding school, at the school I was at, we used to go out and study. This was mandatory, we had to go and just have a study time every evening from 7 o’clock to 10 o’clock. So I remember, when I went for study I went with my bible and I was reading the Bible.

And after studying, at 10 o’clock, I remember we had kind of a field, a soccer field close by our dormitory. And I remember, when I was done with studying instead of going back to the dormitory to sleep I just went in that field. And I remember just kneeling down and pouring out my heart to God, and I was just crying and weeping, and asking God to forgive me, and telling him that “I dedicate my life to you Father.”

I was just thanking God for Jesus Christ, and I was thanking Jesus Christ for dying for my sins, and I was just weeping, and I was crying to God and asking for forgiveness. I knew there was something that had changed in my life, and that day I decided that my life was going to be dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ.

I remember when I was praying one of the teachers came by, and he was wondering what I was doing in the field. He came, he looked at me, and he saw me, I was just crying and calling on God. And he looked at me with kind of amazement, and he just walked away. And I stayed there for I don’t know how long, maybe an hour or so. And when I left that place I knew from that day onward I was going to walk a different kind of life.

And looking back probably I handled this the wrong way, but one of the things that I did that I remember is I almost right away cut off all my friends that I had been working with, and I got new friends. I started hanging out with these guys that were Christians from the fellowship, and the more I hung out with them the more I felt a hunger to know God more, because these guys would quote scriptures, they would tell you where scriptures are in the Bible. Whenever we would pray – we used to meet for prayer – they would pray the word, and I was kind of like lost because I was looking at these young kids who knew the Bible and who knew about prayer, how to communicate to God, and I didn’t know any of this stuff. That drove me so much that I really decided to just go after God. And honestly speaking, for the next two years in my – for the next year actually, because that was my senior six. For the next year I spent, it’s almost like I gave up on books. And I remember I would be in class, the teacher would be teaching and I was fiercely reading the Bible.

When we left class and maybe went on break I would hang out with these guys and I would listen to them talk to the Bible. It’s like these guys did not talk about anything else other than the stories in the Bible and scriptures and the revelations they were getting. So you know I would hang out during break. And then during lunchtime they would be going out to eat, I would be going in the bushes to pray and read the word of God. I would fast; I would seek the Lord out. I remember I would wake up late in the night at like 3 o’clock and I would spend like an hour, two hours, three hours, just praying in the night in the cold, because I was so hungry for God. I cut off my old friends and I just wanted to be with guys that knew God, I did not want to fellowship with guys that didn’t know God. I probably handled some of these things the wrong way looking back, I was immature, but something had changed in my life.

And from that time going forward there was a fire within my life, because I just knew I was experiencing something I had not experienced before. And so my life started to change. And within probably a month, two month, or three months – I mean it was within a short time – you could not differentiate me from these guys who are talking about the Bible because it’s almost like everything they had to say about the Bible, it was like I could remember where scriptures were, I could quote some of the scriptures, I had started to learn to pray according to the scriptures, I just felt like I was now part of these guys. I was so passionate and God was working in my life to the point that these guys, I think they also forgot that maybe I hadn’t been a Christian, and by saying I hadn’t been a Christian I wasn’t attending with them, you know like their fellowships, I wasn’t part of them. They forgot about that because they almost thought I had been with them maybe two years or so, because they started calling me in on meetings where they wanted to make decisions.

They started trusting me – I remember they would trust me with money to go out and do shopping for the fellowship – I mean they started taking me as if I was a part of the committee. Because I remember one time – I think they were going to reorganize the committee, and they were wondering what position I held in the committee, and they realized I didn’t hold any position. I mean, they were perplexed to know that.

But the reason was is because I had grown so much in love with God that God was doing wonders in my life. I remember they started giving me opportunities to preach the word and to share the word of God, and I would share the little that I knew. So I was so much on fire and from that time my fire for God just grew deeper, I just wanted to be with God, I wanted to spend time with God. So that’s how I give my life to Jesus Christ.

Now what I want to do in the next podcast is kind of to show you how myself for God, and how that changes in 2007. So when I do the next podcast, it’s going to kind of be a continuation on this podcast. So I want to leave you with this: that I was so serious for God, and I just wanted to do as much as I could for God, and in 2007 something changed. There was something that changed in my life, and that’s what I want to share with you, what really changed in my life and how maybe that’s when I will also show you how I got to start Christian Motivation.

So I hope that gives you an idea of how I came to give my life to Jesus Christ. I’m really so grateful to have the opportunity to share with you. Again for those of you who may be hearing this for the first time, I just want to encourage you to go to the website, ChristianMotivation.TV, you can fill in your name and your email so that we can stay in contact with one another.

I still went to church every Sunday, those are disciplines that had been instilled in me as a young child and so when I grew up they were still disciplines that I treasured.</itunes:summary>

Completing your health and fitness objectives is the goal when it comes to wellness and fitness. Most of us understand that all foods do not have the same nutritional value. The leading of food resources or nutrition is fruits, vegetables and grains since they are natural and free of “deadly” by products and additions like artificial sugars, added sodium, saturated fats, nitrates, etc.

Research has repeatedly revealed that vegetables, fruits, and grains are the body’s most liked meal sources for ideal functionality, because they have nutrients that the body needs to heal naturally, as well as function efficiently. We should be consuming a lot of fruits and veggies because they aid in supplying our bodies with the required every day energy, improve resistance to illnesses, and foster overall mind health and wellness.

One can liken our bodies to a vehicle. Just like your car needs regular servicing, fuel, oil change and care to get the best out of it, Our bodies need to be cared for if we are going to get the best out of them. Just like one would not take good care of their car and continuously experience problems with it, the reason we have weight and health problems is simply because we are not taking care of our bodies and do not pay attention to what we are putting in our bodies, yet unrealistically demand a lot from them.

To live at optimum health levels, we have to be good caretakers of our bodies by building on a good foundation of committing to a good solid diet plan for overall wellness than the “magic” diets we all like to believe but we know that they don’t have any long lasting results.

In addition to the grains, vegetables and fruits, we can also include lean (mostly white) meats, low fat dairy items, low dietary cholesterol, cut back on added sugars, use little or no sodium, drink a lot of water and pay attention to what we eat when eating out.

A healthy, balanced regimen and lifestyle will supply you with the energy as well as stamina needed to overcome the physical and emotional obstacles of daily life. All you truly require for a healthy life style is offered by nature in grains, fruits and vegetables.

So, if you are trying to get in shape, stay in shape, keep good shape or anything like that, remember to manage your body just like you deal with the care of your vehicle. Decide on the right “fuel” to maintain your “engine” at optimum levels for a long time. Don’t shortchange yourself or your life by sustaining your body on having harmful foods and other activities that will certainly decline your opportunities for a prolonged, healthy, satisfied life.

These concepts hold true for everybody under the sun. Those who pay attention to what they eat are going to receive plenty of rewards from a healthy and balanced way of living. Some times, it can be hard to figure out what the best foods for your body is, but if you begin experimenting with various natural food diets that you will like and will work for you, you will definitely reap the rewards.

You may also consult a dietitian or physicians to help you figure out exactly what kind of food items are good for your body type. When you find the foods/diet that benefit and improve your health lifestyle, stick with it. You will be glad that you did.

Until next time,

Stay blessed, keep the faith & reign in life!!

Here is the transcript:

Praise the lord. Moses here from Christian Motivation; I hope you are doing fine. I just want to give you a brief bio about myself. I think it’s very important that you get to know about me. I don’t want you to be listening to me but have no idea who I am. First and foremost I thank you for taking the opportunity to listen to this podcast, and I’m hoping that you did subscribe to it. So if you’re listening to this podcast from somewhere else other than iTunes, I encourage you to go to iTunes. If you type in my name, Moses Kangave, or you just type in Christian Motivation you should be able to see the podcast and then you can subscribe to it. I really encourage you to subscribe to the podcast because I intend to give you things that are going to help you to reign in life.

So to begin from, as I said, my name is Moses Kangave, I live here in the US, when people read my name they usually pronounce it say “Kangev” and I’m so used to it that that now when somebody asks me “Kangev”, is that right?” I just answer yes, but in case you want to know the correct pronunciation of my name, it’s Kangave. It really doesn’t matter to me how you pronounce it, all that matters to me is that we get to know each other, but Moses Kangave is my name.

If you go to ChristianMotivation.com and you click on the ‘About Me’ page, I have also written answers to very simple questions, just general basic simple questions where you can get to know about me. So if you just want to read about me you can go out there and just read about me. But I thought I would also do an audio where I just talk to you about who I am.

As I said, I am in theUSright now; I live inCalifornia, specifically I live inMorenovalley. I am originally fromUganda. I like to joke that I’m fromUgandainTexas. It’s because most people – some people have not heard ofUganda, butUgandais a small country in eastAfrica. And for those that have heard aboutUgandausually when I tell them I’m fromUgandathe first thing they want to ask me about is Idi Amin. Idi Amin passed away a long time ago but Idi Amin was the president that kind of “putUgandaon the map”. So it’s like most people know aboutUgandabecause of Idi Amin.

And I was talking to a friend a few days ago and he was telling me there is a documentary about Kony that has come out recently, he told me it’s on YouTube, it’s a well done documentary; I personally haven’t yet seen it. I plan on watching it so I can get to know what it’s about, but actually it’s about the invisible children ofUganda.

There’s this guy, he’s a rebel in northern Uganda called Kony, so he comes in from Sudan, comes in then kills people, abducts kids, kills kids and then he runs back to Sudan, something like that. So my understanding is some people have done a documentary about it and somehow it has got media attention. So probably the next time people ask me aboutUgandathey’ll be asking me about Kony instead of Idi Amin. But I just want you to know thatUgandais not just about people that are killing people, but we have really good men and women of God and the Word of God is really alive and working inUganda.

I gave my life to Jesus Christ in 1996, which means that I’ve been a Christian for more than 10 years. So, actually I was saved for more than 15 years, I really have enjoyed my walk with Jesus Christ, it’s been a walk where I have learned a lot of things, and that’s mostly what I want to talk about when it comes to Christian Motivation.

I came to theUSin December of 2000, so I’ve been here for more than 10 years. I love it here, I enjoy it here. I miss home; I call this home, I callUgandahome too. And just to let you know, in 2007 – as I said I’ve been a Christian since 1996, and I love The Lord, I was on fire for God, I really would spend lots of time in prayer and what have you.

But in 2007 I started hearing about the word of grace and faith and God’s love in a way that I have never heard it before or I had never really taken time to sit down and study it in the Word of God. So things started to change for me and I started looking at God differently than I had done before. You see, before that I would do things and almost thing that whatever I do I’m scoring points before God. So I’d do things kind of to prove myself to God, or I’d do things to kind of get favor with God.

So most of my worth before 2007 was more based on my works and my efforts, and then all of a sudden I started learning about God’s grace, about God’s love, and what really faith means and how to rest in the finished work of The Lord Jesus Christ, and my life started to take on a different transformation, the words started transforming me, and in 2008 through 2010 I attended Spirit Life Bible Institute where I was again just amassing myself with the Word of God.

And it’s when I started learning about these things that I thought to myself there are many people out there, there are money people who either know God, or people who don’t know God, who really do not understand who God is. They really do not understand God’s love. They don’t understand the finished work of Jesus Christ. They don’t understand what grace is all about. They don’t understand who we are in Jesus Christ. And I just realized that I have to start letting people know about God, and letting people know about God’s love, God’s grace, and what it means to reign in life.

So that’s why I really started Christian Motivation, that’s why I’m starting this podcast, because I want to share with you the things that I have learned and the things that I continue to learn. I want to provide you with resources that will hopefully help direct you in the right direction so that you can have an intimate relationship with The Lord Jesus Christ and with our Father and with The Holy Spirit. So that’s what I want to do.

In this brief audio I cannot really tell you my testimony of how I came to give my life to Jesus Christ, but I believe that’s one of the things that I will probably do sometime later on where I will just make an audio, or let me say a podcast where I will just share with you how I gave my life to Jesus Christ, and I hope that it will be a blessing to someone either who’s looking for answers, who hasn’t yet give in their life to Jesus Christ. Or it may even be a blessing to those that have really given their lives to Jesus Christ. But I just want you to know how I came to the lord Jesus Christ.

So I just wanted to make this quick podcast just to share with you a little bit about myself so that you get to know about me. Again, as I said, on the website if you click on the ‘About Me’ page you can still read a few things about me, and as we get to know each other, as I get to talk about you, you will probably get to know me more and more. Sometimes I will want to know someone the very first time we meet them, which is almost impossible, but as we continue to communicate, as you continue to listen to me, as I continue to listen from you, I’m hoping that you will take time to leave comments for me, to leave questions – just take time to communicate with me, I don’t want this to be a one-way street.

I want to build a relationship with you, my listeners, with you who are reading the things that I’m putting out there, who are listening to the things that I’m putting out there, I want to really build a relationship with you. And the way that I can do that is if you take the time to communicate back, take the time to leave me a comment, take the time to tell me how the things that I’m sharing with you are helping you, take the time to just say hi at the website or at the Facebook page, or anywhere that I am. I just want us to all be involved.

I believe that as I bless you, you too will bless maybe, because we are met to be a blessing to one another. The Bible says that “Iron sharpens iron.” I’m looking forward to just enjoying this journey together with you as we help together and as we grow together as a family remember, you are my brother, you are my sister, so it’s very important that we get to know more about each other.

Again, Moses here from Christian Motivation, I encourage you to leave me some feedback so I can know the things that are happening in your life. I want to know what you think about the podcast and the other things that I’m doing out there. I just want really to know more about you. I encourage you to let others know about the podcast, let them know about the Facebook page, let them know about the website and any resource that is really benefitting you.

Share it with others, when you go to the website and you see those icons that I have there where you can share on Google, you can share on Facebook, you can like it, you can tweet it, take advantage of all those things that I’m putting out there to help you share the message with somebody else. Again, remember that we are meant to reign in life. So as you go out there I pray that you will stay blessed, I pray that you will keep the faith and that you will reign in life.

It’s Moses here from Christian Motivation saying God bless you. Bye-bye.

Here is the transcript:

Praise the Lord, Moses here from Christian Motivation, I do believe that you are doing fine.

Today is the 24th of March, 2012, and I’m just doing these podcasts, or let me say this quick audio, it’s going to be a short audio, I just want to let you know that I’m starting a podcast that I’m submitting to iTunes, and so I just wanted to let you know about that. I also want to kind of give you an update of where Christian Motivation is going to be going, what direction I’ve decided to be taking it.

Ever since I started Christian Motivation I’ve been wondering really what the audience out there will want to hear or other things that they want me to talk about. And I’ve been kind of debating about how I should go about what I want to do. And after a long time of thinking about this, what I’ve decided to do is I’m just going to make Christian Motivation a place where I just talk about anything and everything that is on my mind, or things that I’m passionate about. And then I’m going to leave it to you who is listening or reading or watching the videos to decide what you want to hear or what you want to watch or what you want to read. When it comes to videos and audios I’m going to do my best to transcribe everything so that those that are interested in just reading will be able to read the transcriptions to the audios and the videos that I do.

And the reason why I’m saying that I’m going to be talking about everything and not really kind of deciding which one is fit for Christian Motivation and which one is not, it’s because I’ve realized over the years that my friends and sometimes acquaintances and people that sometimes I even don’t know will ask me questions, and I will have answers, but sometimes I always think that just because I know something other people know what I know, and that’s a very very wrong assumption to make. And so I’ve realized that I’ve helped a lot of people in figuring out things that I thought everybody maybe knew or everybody was interested in. I’ve also come to realize that even the people that are interested in some things and don’t really know everything, so even as I learn I’ve come to realized that others are learning, so I don’t want to just keep the information that I have learned to myself, I want to give it out there to everyone that may be interested in that information. So for example I’m interested in things to do with business and things to do with technology and the internet. I’m interested in things to do with maybe like health stuff, I do a lot of reading, I do a lot of research.

And I remember one time I was talking to a friend of mind and I was asking them questions concerning my life and I was trying to ask them, you know, I’d love to know how people look at me or what they think of me. So then I asked this person what – if I was to start a business – what business do they think I would be good at. And I remember that she was telling me that I would be a good consultant because she was saying that I have a lot of information and a lot of things that I know that I could help other people do. And I just realized that that’s true, there are many things that I know that other people do not know. I bring that as an example to say that’s why I want to just talk about everything in one place, because I’ve been wondering what I should just make different websites for different things, but then that will kind of take away my focus, I will kind of be spread all over the place and that’s not what I want to do.

So from now going forward you will hear me talk about all kinds of things. You may hear some things and you may wonder what has that got to do with Christian Motivation? Well it may not have anything to do with “Christianity” but it may have something to do with our life, it may have something to do for the person who needs that resource or whatever we’re talking about, it may be a lot to them, so it’s going to really be up to you to decide what you want to listen to and what you want to watch or what you want to read.

So I’ll be putting out as much as possible. All I’m asking is that you give me feedback, let me know what you want to hear, I’ll really appreciate if you’ll take the time to leave a comment if something has been beneficial to you or there’s something you want me to clarify, or there is constructive criticism that you want to give me; whatever you want to comment I will really appreciate, and also I encourage you to subscribe to the podcast on iTunes, and I encourage you after you listen to a couple episode to take the time to write in and let me know what you think about it. So I just wanted to do this quick audio to let you know about that change that I’m going to make, and to just encourage you to watch out.

Again, take time to subscribe to the mailing list so I can have your contact information with me so that in case I want to communicate something just to the list without putting it on the blog I could be able to do that. So other than that I wish you all the best. I love you very much. God bless you, and stay blessed. Bye-bye.

You have probably heard it said that “Attitude is everything” well, I came across this video and though I don’t agree with the suggestions in the video, I like the comedy and if you have debt collectors giving you a lot of headache, taking on this attitude towards them may help make your life a little easier.

Most of the time debt collectors threaten people that are already vulnerable. Some times, the best thing you can do for yourself is to catch them off guard by reacting to them in the way they are not used to.

I think there is some advise here on how to deal with debt collectors.

Relax and enjoy!

Here is the transcription of the video:

Praise the lord. Moses here from Christian Motivation, I do believe that you are doing fine. In the last video that I made I made a promise and I said that I would share with you some things, so I just want in this video to share with you one of the things that I promised, and one of the things that I promised to share with you was a verse concerning Joseph where God made him forget his past, and the reason I wanted to do that is I know the last year, 2011, has been really hard on some people.

I’ve been in places where I’ve found people who are out on the streets on tents, under the bridges, I’ve seen tents put out in places some of you would not even imagine living. People have lost their homes, people have lost their jobs, marriages have fallen apart, relationships have fallen apart, just because of what is happening in this country. People are losing hope, it’s almost like people are just hitting the bottom and they don’t seek any way out.

I’m here to just encourage you and let you know that God is still on the throne. God is still in control. The very reason that you are still breathing is an indication that God still has a purpose on your life, and I just want to encourage you that when things get tough, don’t give up hope. Don’t give up hope. There is hope for you.

God is going to come through for you. And, as I said in the last video, we see this in scripture, in many instances, in many examples, where God came through at points where probably people had given up, and they thought that there was no hope for them, and one of the things that I want you to know is when God comes through for you, he will even make you forget your past. He will make you forget the pains that you are going through.

You see, sometimes when we are going through those pains, it almost looks like you will not go through the pain, or you will not go through the situation, or the circumstance, and you think to yourself, even if you were to get to the other side, and things get better, you almost think like there’s no way you can forget, and I’m here to let you know that sometimes even people who have gone through pain and gone through circumstances and get to a life that looks to be better, if they cannot forget their past sometimes their past will hold them back. It doesn’t matter how much money you have, if your past was bad and you cannot forget your past your past will hold you back.

So I just want to share with you two verses that really blessed me, and the way I came upon these verses was really through a friend of mine, I have a pastor friend of mine who one time text me- just a few days ago, probably a few weeks ago, so he text me and asked me what I thought of Genesis Chapter 41, and he was telling me to look at verse 51.

He told me to look at Genesis 41:51, and he was asking what revelation I was getting from it; the funny thing is, the moment I read the verse, I replied to him and I told him, look here, I don’t know what revelation you’re getting out of the verse, but what I know is the verse just shows that there are things that we go through sometimes and we even don’t know how, how to go through them.

But as I was meditating on the verse, the very first time I read it, It’s almost something just leaped on the inside of me, and it was like this verse was speaking aloud to me, and the second verse too, I read verse 51, and it was also speaking something on the inside of me, and I remember texting back and told him, you know what, this verse is blessing me so much, I can see me even give a whole sermon on these two verses. Now, I’m not here to give a whole sermon on these two verses, but I just wanted to read them to you and let you know what God can do.

It says, this is the story of Joseph, I’m sure you know about this story, if you don’t I encourage you to go out in Genesis and read the life of Joseph, it’s really a story that will bless you because I know there is a lot that you can get from there. But in verse 51 it says, “And Joseph called the name of the first born,” let me go back to verse 50, verse 50 says, “And unto Joseph were born two sons, before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah, priest of On, bare unto him. And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house. And the name of the second called he Abraham, for God had caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction,”

You see, Joseph had gone through a lot of trouble, a lot of circumstances in his life, and it looked like even if he was doing the right thing, things were not coming up the right way. It almost looked like he was doing the right thing, but then the right thing was leading him to the wrong destination. You see, in life, sometimes we will look at our lives and it looks like we are doing everything we know to do.

It looks like we have prayed the way we know to pray, it looks like we have worked at our work the way we know to do, to work, we have given ourselves at our bosses our at our businesses or our work, or it may be the ministry, whatever it is, it may be your relationships, sometimes you- it looks like you’ve done everything you know to do right, but the it looks like the things end up giving you the results you didn’t want to get in the first place, and I know that many people who have been working hard paying their mortgage, but then they ended up losing their jobs, they ended up losing their houses, they ended up losing their relationships after all they had invested in those relationships, in those jobs, in their careers, in the businesses, but at the end of the day they ended up losing their jobs, they ended up losing their businesses, they ended up losing their relationships, and you may be at a place in your life where you are wondering where is God.

I believe that Joseph was at that place where he knew he had done every right thing, but it looked like whatever he did did not amount to anything good, it almost looked like everything he did right was only leading to something wrong. But God was not done with him, you see the scripture tells us that even when he was going through all that, God was with him, and I am here to encourage you that God is with you. But here is an interesting thing that I was in these two verses.

When God took Joseph from the prison and set him on the throne, when he had- when Joseph had his first son, he did not name his first son a name that meant that he was fruitful. The first thing that he named- the name that he gave his first son, was a name that said that God had made him forget all the toil and all the trouble and all the challenges that he had gone through. You see, sometimes in life, even after you’ve excelled, even after you’ve gone to the other side of the river, if I may say, after you’ve crossed to the other side, if you have not forgotten the things, the troubles you’ve gone through, it’s very hard for you to enjoy even what God has given to you.

So to Joseph, it was very important that God makes him forget all the pain and all the toil, and I believe that placed a very important role in his future because you remember when his brothers came he was able to forgive them, and sometimes you may read that and you wonder how was he able to forgive his brothers after all that they had done to them.

Here’s the trick, here’s the secret; God had made him forget the past. I believe that God is going to take you to a place in your life where the first thing that he’s going to do, before you even realize the prosperity that he’s bringing in your life, before you realize his goodness, he’s going to make you forget your past. God is going to make you forget your past, and after he has made you forget your past, then he is going to make you fruitful so that you can enjoy the fruit of whatever it is that God is giving to you.

This verse has blessed me a lot; I can do a whole sermon on just these two verses, but I’m here to just encourage you that- don’t give up, God is going to make you forget, I don’t know what you’re going through, I don’t know how bad things have been for you, I don’t know how bad this year has been for you, but I want you to know that God is still on the throne. If you are still breathing, you are a candidate for a miracle, and God is going to do that in your life. He is going to make you forget all the pain, he is going to make you forget all the toil, and then he is going to make you fruitful. Just don’t give up, and keep on hoping. Keep on trusting in him, keep on looking to him, he is going to make it come true in your life.

So, I wanted to encourage you with that, I just wanted to make sure I am true to the promise I made in the last video of sharing these two verses with you, so I encourage you to just keep on lifting up the name of Jesus, keep on looking unto God and he will see you through.

Until next time, I wish you the best in this holiday season, and I want you to keep hoping for a better 2012. God bless you, stay blessed, keep the faith, and go reign in life. Bye bye.
