Praise the Lord my brother and sister, Moses here at Christian Motivation, I hope and believe that you are doing fine. I know it’s really been a while since I last posted anything on the podcast or at the website. And the reason why it’s been a while is because a few weeks back I got some challenges with my website;
one day I woke up and wanted to post something and I realized that something was wrong with my website so I contacted my hosting company to find out what was wrong and they promised they were going to fix the problem. I was going out of town so I went for a whole week, I did not check the website and the next thing I know when I came back they hadn’t fixed the problem.
I contacted them again and they said they were working on it and then they ended up telling me they had moved my website to a different server and they didn’t know why it wasn’t working. And then the next thing they are telling me….oh, they found was some pornographic material hidden deep, deep in one of my files.
Now, I don’t know if really somebody spammed my website with pornographic material or if it was a way for them to try to get out of the trouble they had caused because in the first place, they did not tell me they were going to move my website to a different server. I don’t know really if they are obligated to tell me that or they’re not, but now that they couldn’t retrieve the website, I don’t know really if it’s true that they found some pornographic material on the website or if they just came up with that reason so that they don’t have to be liable for the problem, I don’t know.
The next thing they’re telling me is they’re like… so actually I asked them, “So if you found pornographic material buried deep, deep in one of my files, why didn’t you contact me to ask me about it? Or, you should have known, you should have looked at the whole website and realized that that was just spam.” And they give me a reason that all is just within their terms and conditions within their policies that if they find in a website on their servers with pornography they just have to trash it.
Well, that didn’t make sense to me but I just didn’t want to argue with them, I just decided to change hosting companies, I lost some of my stuff, my designs and everything. So it’s almost like I had to start all over again, I had a backup but then I… not a full backup so I’ve been trying to get all this stuff back together.
For those of you who have been at the website before, you realize that now it looks kind of different, I’m still working on it again. But I just wanted to update you and let you know that it’s not that I’m just giving up on podcasting or posting on the website but it’s just because of going through this and then of course I’m busy with my work so I just get time here and there and when I get the time to post something that’s when I really do post something.
But I wanted to make this quick audio and post it so you know what’s been happening and hopefully by the grace of God I will have more time now that at least I have something back up again on the website for me to be able to do some postings again.
Otherwise, I hope you are doing fine, I love you guys, all of you that are out there listening and reading the material that I’m putting out. I just pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to help you in all your endeavors, to guide you toward truth, and I really do wish the best for you.
