Here is the transcript:

Praise the Lord, Moses here from Christian Motivation, I do believe that you are doing fine.

Today is the 24th of March, 2012, and I’m just doing these podcasts, or let me say this quick audio, it’s going to be a short audio, I just want to let you know that I’m starting a podcast that I’m submitting to iTunes, and so I just wanted to let you know about that. I also want to kind of give you an update of where Christian Motivation is going to be going, what direction I’ve decided to be taking it.

Ever since I started Christian Motivation I’ve been wondering really what the audience out there will want to hear or other things that they want me to talk about. And I’ve been kind of debating about how I should go about what I want to do. And after a long time of thinking about this, what I’ve decided to do is I’m just going to make Christian Motivation a place where I just talk about anything and everything that is on my mind, or things that I’m passionate about. And then I’m going to leave it to you who is listening or reading or watching the videos to decide what you want to hear or what you want to watch or what you want to read. When it comes to videos and audios I’m going to do my best to transcribe everything so that those that are interested in just reading will be able to read the transcriptions to the audios and the videos that I do.

This is the REAL deal of social networking

We all know how technology is changing the way we do things and relate to each other. It almost feels like one is from a different “age” if they don’t have a facebook or twitter account (these seem to be the top two social networking sites).

I don’t know if you have a facebook or twitter account; but if you do, how do you use it and how is it affecting you or the people you interact with?

I recently got to know a gentleman and his family through his podcasts and have been listening to some of his shows whenever I get an opportunity. There are many things I could talk about him and what attracted me to him, but this is not the time for that (I plan on interviewing him in the future so you will get to hear his story).

Today, I want to give Cliff Ravenscraft credit for what he is doing with social networking.

About a week ago, I received a tweet from Cliff (Am subscribed to his tweets) about a post that I had to read. Infact, here is the tweet he sent:

If you only ever read 1 single blog post I write, PLEASE READ THS ONE & Share With Others:

When I got the tweet, I read the post and I was amazed. I could not stop saying to myseslf, “This is it. This is what social networking is all about.”

It’s about you and I having an opportunity to connect past our distances, building relationships with people we would never have had a chance to meet. If it had not been for technology, social networking specifically, I doubt that Cliff and Amy would have had an opportunity to get to know each other, eventually meet in person and touch one another’s life.

I encourage you to go to and read the story for yourself. I believe it will inspire you to look at social networking in a different way.

Unfortunately, as you will see in the update on that post, Amy passed away.

Cliff has gone beyond social networking as we know it, and has developed a community of people who are interested in the same things he is. The effort he has put into building relationships is amazing. To me, this is ministry and fellowship but tagged as social networking!

I would love to know, how do you personally use social networking? Please leave a comment.

until next time,

Stay blessed, keep the faith and reign in life!
